William Swan Plumer (1802–1880) was an American Presbyterian minister and theologian who pastored prominent churches in Richmond, Baltimore, and Allegheny before serving as professor of theology at Columbia Theological Seminary. He authored more than twenty-five books, including substantial commentaries on Romans, Hebrews, and Psalms.
