Today I saw an incredibly cool website, BibleSpeak.org. It has hundreds of audio pronunciations for Bible names and words. I can’t tell you how many times I run across names in the Bible, especially in the Old Testament, that totally confuse me. This pronunciation guide gives not only an audio pronunciation, but it also has a phonetic guide for every name as well. This is very helpful if you need to copy it to your notes for Sunday School, etc. It’s very easy to forget how to pronounce Bible names.
Whether you’re a pastor, Sunday School teacher or just a confused Bibler reader, the BibleSpeak website looks like a great tool to use in your study and preparation.
